Christine and Stephen Teasers

So yesterday Melly and I shot the wedding of my co-worker, Christine, and her fiancée Stephen. They were the same couple we shot the engagement photos for a few months prior. It was a beautiful, but very hot day! However, the heat cooled a bit and gave us a great outdoor wedding in Seal Beach at the Old Ranch Country Club. Everyone involved with the wedding was a lot of fun to work with, meet and have fun with! Shout outs to the wedding planner, groom’s men, best man, bride’s maids and maid of honors you guys were really cool to be around with! Until Melly and I go through all the pictures, here are a few teasers from me!

Kim & Darryl

A few weeks back, I helped out Trang Bui shoot her cousin’s wedding. Her cousin, Kim, was marrying her long time boyfriend Darryl. Trang had already previously done their engagement session so the wedding day was the first time I met the couple. Right off the bat, I felt that they were a pretty cool couple and they ended up being really fun to work with. The one thing I had been worried about all day though was rain. It was suppose to rain all weekend and it in fact did rain on and off throughout the day but we made the best of it. The one downfall of the predicted rain was that instead of their ceremony being outside under a beautiful gazebo, it had to get shifted indoors instead. I didn’t get to spend too much time with the bride because Trang had it covered, but I did get to hang with Darryl and his best men and they were a really chill group. All and all, it was a really fun wedding and I hope Kim & Darryl the best.

Eunice and Billy’s Wedding

As I mentioned in my previous post (Another New York Adventure), I was in Jersey City the past weekend to help Louis Trinh of Tikko Studios with a wedding he was shooting. Louis flew out to shoot Eunice & Billy’s wedding after he was referred to them by a previous client. Seeing as how I was already in New Jersey for work, I called him up to see if I can help assist and he agreed. The wedding and reception was at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City, NJ and man what a view they have there! When you look out from pretty much any window inside the hotel, you can the Manhattan Skyline!

Anyways, the wedding went by smoothly and while assisting I was able to capture some of my own shots. It was my first wedding, so it was great experience for myself. Congrats to Eunice & Billy, a couple that was made thanks to match.com!
