I started getting involved in photography in college about 3 years ago when I bought my first camera, a Canon Powershot SD 700IS. When I started to notice how many pictures I was taking whenever I went somewhere, I knew I loved photography. It wasn’t until I bought my first dslr when I really started to learn about photography and have a real passion for it. My first dslr was a Nikon D40 that I bought just before leaving for Japan, and with it I took many memorable shots of my time in that beautiful country. After coming back I realized I wanted to expand my photography repertoire. My opportunity came when I was asked to do a photoshoot for a dance team and I excitedly said yes. It wasn’t until after I said yes that I realized what I had gotten myself into…. but I did it anyways because I felt the best way to learn was to just do it!
Ever since then, I have done many different types of shoots: portraits, lifestyle, event, and travel. My goal now, as it has always been, is to learn more about photography and to become a better photographer.
Currently, I am a freelance photographer based in Orange County, Ca.
